Somewhere you love, painted by you.
It turns up bare, in one colour, with every building as a numbered piece. You paint it. You build it. You get to be smug about it.
What it is
A real place, unpainted
Pick anywhere on Earth. It arrives bare, in a single primer colour, ready to become whatever you decide it should look like.
Every building a separate piece
The buildings come off the base as individually numbered pieces. Paint them on the table, then press each one into its own socket.
Twice the detail
Printed at 1:3,000 rather than the standard scale — a smaller area, rendered far finer, because you're going to have your nose right up against it.
How it’s made
You choose the place. You choose the colours.
Find the spot
Type a postcode, or drag the map about until it's framed the way you remember it. No account, no sign-up.
We print it bare
One primer colour. Base and buildings printed as separate pieces, with a numbered guide in the box.
The fun bit is yours
Paint the pieces however you like, then glue each one into its socket. Every model ends up different, because every painter is.

“Took me three evenings and I enjoyed every one of them. Painting my own street was oddly emotional.”
“We did it as a family over Christmas. Everyone got a few buildings to paint however they wanted.”
“The numbering makes it genuinely relaxing rather than fiddly. You always know where the next piece goes.”

The bit where you ask things
Before you start.
So what actually turns up?
A bare model in a single primer colour: the base as one solid piece about 15 cm across, every building as a separate numbered piece, and a printed guide showing where each one goes.
Is paint included?
It isn't, no. The pieces are printed in a primer-ish colour that takes ordinary acrylic model paint straight from the pot, so there's no undercoat to faff with first.
Is it fiddly?
Less than you'd think. Each building only fits its own socket, and both are numbered to match, so it's closer to a jigsaw than to modelling. Most people finish over a couple of evenings.
How's this different from the finished one?
The standard edition turns up done, in full colour. This one turns up bare for you to paint, and prints at 1:3,000 instead — a smaller area, in noticeably finer detail.
How much ground does it cover?
Roughly 450 m across on the middle size. Less than the full-colour edition, deliberately: at this scale the buildings are big enough to paint without swearing.
What if I glue something in the wrong socket?
You'd have to work at it — each socket is shaped to its own building. Seat everything without glue first if you'd rather see the whole layout before committing.
How long am I waiting?
Usually 4–6 days. We print to order rather than sitting on stock, so yours is made after you buy it.
Can I pick anywhere in the world?
Anywhere that's been mapped. You build and spin the whole thing in 3D before ordering, so you can see exactly which buildings you'll be painting.
You already know the place. Now go and paint it.
